Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in the Backyard BBQ & Smoking Essentials masterclass. They outline how the course works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
When you enroll, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to stream the video lessons and download the accompanying recipe cards and temperature charts. The materials are for your own backyard practice only. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly screen any part of the course without written permission from SmokeCraft.
You are responsible for your own grill or smoker, fuel, meat, and safety gear. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment and use a reliable meat thermometer. We provide guidance on technique, but you are the one lighting the fire and handling hot surfaces, so please exercise common sense and keep children and pets away from the cooking area.
We work hard to keep every lesson accurate and up to date. Smoking times and temperatures vary with your equipment, altitude, and the size of your cut, so we always present ranges and explain how to read the meat rather than promising a single guaranteed result. If you spot an error in a lesson, email us at info@sailinginjapan.com and we will review and correct it promptly.
The masterclass is educational content, not a professional food-safety certification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SmokeCraft is not liable for any injury, property damage, or spoiled meal that results from following our instructions. You cook at your own risk. We also do not guarantee that your brisket will turn out exactly like the one in the video, because so much depends on your specific setup and ingredients.
You may cancel your enrollment at any time through your account dashboard. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days, contact us and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. After that period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate the license terms or engage in abusive behavior toward other students or our support team.
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new course features or legal requirements. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top. Continued access to the course after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. If you have questions about any clause, reach out to info@sailinginjapan.com and we will explain it in plain language.
